Incredible Days is a Covenanted Partner organization of the Southern New England Conference of The United Church of Christ, and is excited to be collaborating with the SNEUCC’s Edwards House Meeting and Retreat Center in Framingham, MA.

A group of volunteers put there hands in the middle. They wear matching white t-shirts that said VOLUNTEER boldly across the front.

What is it?

Incredible Faith Mission: Boston will be filled with folks eager to experience a week of mission work in Boston.  Participants will stay at the comfortable and accommodating Edwards House where you will eat and sleep but also get to reflect, play and enjoy the center’s amenities. We will commute into Greater Boston daily to do service projects focused on

addressing urban poverty. Throughout Boston proper, groups will work with

partner organizations to serve meals, sort donations and help at homeless

shelters. There will also be time put aside to allow for some cultural immersion and

fun time, where you can truly enjoy and appreciate Boston. Equally important,

we will have discussions where we learn how history has shaped urban poverty in

cities. Participants get the chance to both see and learn what poverty in Boston

looks like today and what can be done to help.

Who can participate?

Incredible Faith Mission: Boston is open to youth and intergenerational groups ages 14+.

Why volunteer?

People of every tradition and background hear the call to serve others and work for justice - Incredible Faith Mission: Boston is built around that call. Mission work allows us to put our beliefs into action, and helps people of all ages deepen their faith while living it. Incredible Faith Mission: Boston will be a week spent living in an intentional community of love and service. You will leave the week feeling transformed with new understandings of urban poverty.
